Currently, the company owns 7 patents of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in which more than 10 formulas of new substances are protected, which have high healing and prophylactic properties for various diseases.

 

The main strategic line of A.B.-BIOKOM LLC in innovative developments is the concept of creating and introducing the most highly effective drugs that fully meet all the requirements of practical healthcare. The important components of this concept are:

1. The drugs developed by the company should have a higher specific activity, be harmless and not expensive
2. Drugs should have a wide spectrum of therapeutic activity
3. The pharmacotherapeutic effect of drugs should be observed as soon as possible.
4. The mechanisms of action of drugs in various diseases should be aimed at restoring and effectively mobilizing the natural protective functions of the body

The above features of the concept of innovative developments of A.B.-BIOKOM LLC, in the aggregate, contribute to the formation of a high competitive ability of the products.
Based on the above-mentioned features of the concept, the specialists of A.B.-BIOKOM LLC have developed and introduced into medical practice 5 original drugs – Kobavit, Ferrocomed, Koglumet, Glutamed and Tirostimulin.
Each of the drugs created by the company has high pharmacotherapeutic properties and compares favorably with well-known and popular drugs of similar groups, and some of them have no analogues in their effect of action.
LLC “A.B.-BIOKOM” has the appropriate scientific and material and technical resources that contribute to the further development of innovative developments and the production of the original drugs.

Until 2019, the research and production activities of A.B.-BIOKOM LLC were limited by the development of new formulas, their patenting, introduction into medical practice, as well as the production of innovative drugs substances. The final products (dosage forms) were manufactured by third-party pharmaceutical companies on the basis of an outsourcing agreement.
In 2015, the company’s management made a decision, along with the existing production facilities, to build a new “zero cycle” pharmaceutical plant that meets international standards. The construction of the new production building began in March 2016 and completed in October 2018. The construction of the plant and its commissioning was included in the State Program for the Integrated Development of the Tashkent Region.

A.B.-BIOKOM has purchased new industrial and laboratory equipments manufactured in China and Turkey as part of an investment project. In this building there are sections for the production of pelleting, encapsulated and ointment dosage forms, as well as dosage forms in sachet bags, QCD laboratories, warehouses for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products. The production conditions will also comply with international GMP standards.

Today the company produces both patented substances and dosage forms of 4 innovative drugs, according to the “zero cycle”. In addition, work is underway to prepare for the production of new original drugs and the most popular generics.
A.B.-BIOKOM LLC has established the Department of Medical Representatives. The task of the department is to familiarize the medical community of the republic with the new developments of the company, with the mechanisms of action and methods of application of the original drugs introduced into medical practice.

Also, in order to study the opinion of doctors and end consumers on the effectiveness of manufactured medicines, the company introduced a pharmaceutical supervision system.
